Erpz... Something's wrong... I seem to be getting on someone else's nerves easily... Or something abt me is flawed? Had a quarrel with a buddy from JC days over a lousy game of WC3... Both players having different thoughts and strats abt the game... (o.O) I dun think neither of us is right nor wrong... Cos it was certainly, highly subjective... But I think it was rather mean of him to jump @ me and accuse me of being shamed into teaming with him... And that he thought I was belittling him... Another case of me being taken as superficial? Hypocritical?

Well I think it's best now to juz keep my mouth shut and not get too sensitive abt the precarious situation unfolding ard me... Hopefully time will prove everything and anything... La-la-la...

After some furious hardcore surfing... I have found some lovely pics of my targetted Aprilia RS125... That sleek main frame... Stream-lined aerodynamic ferrings... Elevated pillon-butt seat... That sexy thing... I dun think any motor-lover would give this babe a miss for a maiden ride...

I've sourced for a couple of real good deals... Including a FM-plate Aprilia Extrema with abt a year left on it's COE... With NO HIDDEN COSTS or INCOMPLETE PAYMENTS... White-blue chic... Recently sent thru an overhaul (Or so the owner claimed...) Up for grabs for a cool SGD$850... Really wanted to go down for a look today or tomolo... Or @ least do something abt my singlehood over the weekend... But alas! I couldn't find anyone with appropriate motoring experience to go down with me to take a peep... And knowing myself that I couldn't wouldn't possibly be able to do anything productive alone... I...

wOOt! I've taken a giant step towards achieving my goal (Of studying harder... Juz slightly harder...) today... Saw my classmate SuZhen @ the NTU Popular bookstore... Mustered all the courage in me to go up to her and asked her shamelessly... For the Material Science notes that she has painstakingly furnished with tips and explainations from the lecturer... You see... I haven't been listening to wat the professor has to say... Even if it's examination tips... And here I am reaping all the rewards of the labour someone else has sowed over the weeks... Guilt-ridden? NOT @ ALL~! LoLz...

2ndly... I forked out $43.40 to buy the Electric Circuits textbook (and a red pen for transferring of notes from SuZhen's to mine...) so that the bloody Thevenin and Norton's theory can be further elaborated with more explicit examples... EEE professors my shiny ASS! Although I haven't had the time to study the book in greater detail... I shall do so... This week... Or whenever convenient...

I'm really sad... Cos of a couple of things that happened recently... =|

1stly... Team RECCOS lost it's virgin to a team with only an outside chance @ the NTU Thursday League... 2-0 the score... Too bad so sad...

2ndly... I'm really struggling with my tutorials... And since I haven't been doing much these days... I've inevitably fallen behind time... Leaving myself in a familiar position as I was years ago in JC and Secondary... Where I played catching up most of the the time... But it wasn't entirely my fault~! I tried looking for the Professors but they weren't helpful at all~! Reasons as ridiculous as "I'm not your tutor so I cant teach you I'm sorry..." or "I dun teach this subject... Pls find your tutor or lecturer..." left me baffled and bewildered... It also left me wondering... Aren't these highly paid bums supposed to be Mr and Mrs-Know-It-All... More importantly... Aren't they, as "teachers", supposed to be helpful and all? And for your info... I didn't go to a cook to ask for horse racing tips...

I'm sad... So so sad... The only thing that left a smile on my face all weekend... Was the soccer game I played this morning @ NTU field... Felt really good to be running ard and kicking a ball ard again after so long... Thank you Junwei for that... You dun know how grateful I am being able to play soccer w/o having to go thru the hassles of organising one... Thanks yet again bro...

I'm gonna give up on last week and tonight to start again fresh tomolo... To start asking people to help me with my tutorials... And I'm gonna start with Thevenin and Norton's theory... Haiz... Good nite... Lah...

Erpz... Slept least today from 1600 till 2145... Woke up in between to switch off my bloody MP3 player playing a certain Warcraft3 MP3 that is full of war-cries and horns and shouts and grunts... Grrr... Wat's with those people?! Wonder why I d/l-ed them anyway...

Finally settled with Barney's farewell and his invitations... We'll be going to a restaurant along the Fountain of Wealth... A Chinese restaurant called "The Magic of Chongqing Hot Pot"... (LoLz... Wat a lame ass name!) You people should try it too if possible... Awesome I tell ya!

Still feeling rather tired and sleepy... I'm gonna retire slightly earlier tonight... And btw... A big "HI!" to Yilin and Wilfred... Hope you've enjoyed my site... (^^,)

RECCOS ON A ROCK 'n' ROLL~!
In today's exciting encounter with the "Bengish" Team ORANGE (Ruffian-like team in orange jerseys...) RECCOS, represented by Seng Kwee, Teck Beng, Xuanwei, Jason, Daren, TzeHao, Jonathan and ME of course... Pulled off a convincing 6-2 victory over a team of sore-losers... ZERO this time for Jason... 3 a piece for Xuan Wei and Teck Beng... Well done lads~!

We had a very bad start to our game... Conceding 1 goal early on thanks to the villian-turned hero Xuanwei... His slack shielding left a gap juz big enuff for the opponent's striker to nose the ball away from under his feet and put it past our naked keeper Seng Kwee... 1-0 to Team ORANGE... Heartache for Team RECCOS... But we never looked back... Some neat passing between Berd and Beng culminated in a trademark goal for Demi-God Teck Beng... Who once again smashed his goal into the bottom-right hand corner of the opponent's keeper goal~! 1-1 the score!

The tempo died down for a while... Cos both teams dun see the need and urgency to score... For the match is only @ most 10 minutes old... Fortunately or unfortunately (You decide...) The opponent scored a fluke goal from a kick-in... Earlier on... Xuanwei did the same... But goals direct from kick-ins don't count... Perhaps under the immense pressure Seng was in... He tried to push the ball over and out in a bid to keep the ball out... Only to realise he actually (Somehow... I dunno how...) Push the ball into the NET~! ARGH~?! WAT THE HECK?~! Embarrassing moment for Seng... Such a soft goal... Such luck! 2-1 to Team ORANGE! Heartbreaking stuff for Team RECCOS!

At this juncture... Berd honorably, nobly and gracefully... Gave up his all-important right-back position to TzeHao... Who missed last week's match although he was present for the game... Jason too was taken off for Daren... So that Xuanwei could play higher up front while Daren helped Teck Beng anchor the back... (Who the hell made those decisions?@! We didn't have a manager ya know?~!)

Team RECCOS having more purpose and sense of urgency after being a goal down... Started to fight back... Deep down in me... I wouldn't accept it if we had lost to such a lame goal... In fact... 2 LAME GOALS~! But the RECCOS faithful didn't have to wait long for the equaliser... Teck Beng the scorer yet again... With yet another trademark goal... (Smashed ball into keeper bottom right hand goal...) 2nd in the game... 3rd for the tournament... 2-2... And wat a match...

With juz 7 minutes left on the referee's watch... We conjured wat seemed to be our best football for a long long time since... Since dunno when lah... To score 3 more goals in quick succession to leave the opponents dumb-founded... And 1 last one in the final minute to seal a convincing 6-2 victory over those sore-losers... 3 in total for Teck Beng... All of which are standard goals into the bottom right hand corner of the keeper's post... And another 3... All of different varieties from Xuanwei... Flicks shots tap-ins... Woohoo~!

The match however was marred by the opponent's lack of sportsmanship... And very VERY poor soccer attitude... No doubt the pitch was rater wet and slippery... Their tackles however found mostly our legs than the elusive ball... Most of the time even if they'd win the ball... It's only because we had to get out of the way instead of risking injury... But they themselves cant take any tackles for nuts! Almost every tackle which resulted in a change of possession in our favor... Was met with an "OEI"... And quickly retaliated with yet another nasty tackle... ( -___- ) A promising embassador of the great game of soccer I reckon~!

This win puts us away @ the top of the table... Installing Team RECCOS as the TEAM TO BEAT in Thursday's League... A great day for us... And an even better win for RECCOS!

Due to the lack of action on the pitch for myself... I took a jog home to waste some more energy... Cos I was still feeling so fresh and hyped... Tried some pull-ups at the park near my house... Realised that I could only manage 3... Erpz! I'm certainly fit no more!

Interesting Points to Note:
- We're the top scoring team for Thurday's League...
- We're currently the team to beat...
- We have yet to see Shaowei and Yiyuan in action...
- All 4 of Teck Beng's goals were trademark goals... (Hope our opponents dun see this!)
- They scored 5 goals in 7 minutes when I wasn't playing...
- They scored only 1 goal in both the 1st and 2nd matches when I was playing...
- We need to find our keeper's gloves... (MISSING!)

I am damn tired now and I'm going to sleep liao... So let me leave you to enjoy this short movie... Where the angmor = Team ORANGE,

Enter the "W32-Blaster Worm". It has a distinct symptom... And a very irritating one at that... A small window pops up on your screen telling you... That your PC will automatically restart in 60s... And there's nothing in the world you can do abt the countdown once it's started... ( -___- )

It's been a while since I last posted... Wasn't my procastination nor indolence that played a part... It's all my tutorials' fault~! So there! I've been struggling with my tutorials recently... Good new is... I'm struggling to keep AHEAD of the class... I used to be taking the back seat in tutorials... In terms of both sitting @ the back of the classroom physically and not actively taking part in class discussions... But not anymore dude... Not anymore... I can only hope this lasts... Cos I seriously dun wanna be behind time no more!

I paid yet another visit to the Kranji Turf club last Friday... 9th August National Day... And really REALLY enjoyed myself yet again~! That place is nothing short of spectacular... So hyped so frantic... Horsies charging down the lane... Crowd cheering and shouting... All of these climaxing in a neck-to-neck photo finish at the finishing line... Adrenline pumping stuff... Especially so if you're one who's got a wager on some of the horses in that particular race! Haha... Lovely sunny day... Stayed throughout to savour every single race... Lost a bit @ the end of the day... But wat a day!

My weekend was very routine... Except for the Sunday breakfast with Zixter, Le'Ciel, Niche and senOr @ JP Delifrance... Their tuna sandwich tastes especially good in the morning... That usually multipled 10x more when you're very hungry to begin with... Didn't join them for the movie "Home Run" cos I didn't want to be watching a movie on weekends when I'm terribly free on weekdays... Besides... It's too good a show to be wasted watching with guys... =P

VICTORY!!!
RECCOS pulled off a crucial morale-boosting 2-1 victory over COSMOS today @ the Thursday Street Soccer League match @ Hall 2... And WAT A GOAL BY DEMI-GOD Ah-Beng in the late half... When he smashed a perfectly weighted pass from Daren into the bottom right hand corner of the keeper's goal... And the victory was sealed. The match was played in good spirits with both sides genuinely playing for the ball and enjoying a good evening of soccer... Although RECCOS badly missed their key players in Shaowei, Yiyuan and Jonathan... We made do with all we had (TzeHao exception... He removed his shoes even before we could field him...) and played our hearts out... The faces after the match certainly showed how much the victory meant to all of us... Although we didn't keep Seng's goal clean as a nun's nasty... We definitely didn't let the others down (They did on us though... =/ ) with a victory... And juz for the records... Jason scored the 1stgoal for us... *Clap clap*

I saw the same cute gal I saw in Canteen B the other day... And I think she might juz be in the same lecture group as me! I hope I'd get a lucky break for once... Never had any luck with gals all my life~! =(

Its worth and place in my heart cannot be replaced with juz words or gestures... The 1 card I handled over to the authority involuntarily some 2 years back... Monday Blues...
My week started off badly with me skipping 3 tutorials in the morning to take my Class 2B motor TP and FAIL for the 3rd time! Geeez! It did get me down for a moment... But (With reference to previous posts...) I've completely given up hope for BBDC and my solution to this is to keep re-taking the TP until I pass... I've come to the point whereby I'm juz too numb abt the test... Hope I'll be 4th-time lucky...

The other sad part of my Monday was returning back to camp but not being able to ORD successfully... Reason being my clearance papers were left behind @ home~! GEEZ! I seriously dun remember bringing them back @ all~! That really marked the end of a black Monday... I've looked forward to this date for so long... And too bad so sad it has to end like this... **Why don't happy stories happen to me? Life juz isn't fair!

Orange Wednesday!
(I seriously dunno what a happy-coloured day is... So I guess orange shall be the default...) Today... Contrary to Monday... As been a productive day~! After lectures in the morning... Followed by an hour of game in the afternoon... I returned to that stinking old place - my camp - to attempt to ORD yet again... And I DID! Haha! (I cant seem to get enuff of this huh?) I also terminated my Starhub line I subscribed for NS purposes... So pls guys... Return my name to the default M1 line... Tango Yankie...

I ended my day with a shopping spree @ Queensway... (Not exactly actually...) I bought myself a nice light-coloured long sleeve shirt ($15) for extra protection against the cold in my lecture threatre... And a pair of street soccer shoes ($45) juz for the occasion tomolo~! (Man ain't I dedicated to my team?!) Juz in case you people have forgotten... RECCOS will begin their Thursday Soccer League tomolo @ 1930hrs onwards... Yup! It's been quite a while since I last blogged... But it's on purpose I assure you... Simply b'cos I wanted to give you people time and chance to read my take on network marketing... Hehez...

Well my life has been far from spectacular these days... Watched 2fast2furious and... And... Wait... There's no and to that... That's basically it! I haven't touched any of my tutorials... Simply because @ home... I juz cant bring myself to open my bag... And do some homework... I hope this wun last... Cos if it does... It spells DOOM!

Like my buddy o' pal, Mahjong sensei cum master, Wenqing, said... "Berd... You better stabilize ur work 1st before hitting on any gals... Cos it's gonna be no ends to disaster if you screw up your 1st semester... Cos all the cornerstones are in the 1st sem... It affects your morale, your confidence, your future and your takeaways (ta-bao)..." How very true... Something so simple and logical yet so transparent to most of us... So I hope by sharing this with you all... You people will understand and not undermine the importance of our 1st semester... Yes I understand that although we should cut ourselves some slack and give ourselves some breathing space after being cut from studying for such a long time... And enjoy the 1st year of University since it's the complete change of environment which in turn means more opportunity to forge new ties and such... But it might juz be the wrong attitude to adopt cos things are getting heated up and pretty fast too! Shant dwell too much on this... I guess you guys pretty much get the idea... As for the gals... Sorry but I've got to make you wait yet again... =P (No shame!)

New Additions:
Now 2 new things I would like to intro to all of you... I've included 2 new links on my site to bring you closer into my life... 1st of which is a link to a Fantasy League soccer webby (Which I've discovered recently...) All of us can sign up for and manage a team of your dream with $100m... You get to choose a team of players from various EPL teams to compete against others' dream team... Your players can earn points for you by scoring or keeping a clean sheet etc etc etc... This scoring is based on the actual result of the matches and the players' performance in the EPL season 2003/2004... Winner of this league at the end of the season (perhaps) can be offered a coaching contract with RECCOS or something (Subjected to approval of the masses...) LoLz... Let's see if we can really get that far... (Private msg me @ a later date to get the code to join our private league... Come beat me to this if you think you're up to it! =P )

The 2nd new link will bring you to a website showing the league table, results and fixtures of our NTU Thursday League Soccer which RECCOS (My team...) has participated in... Organised by some NTU Sports committee of some sort... We'll be playing every Thursday on court a 5-a-side street soccer game of 25 minutes... With unlimited substitution in between starting from 7th August onwards... Be sure to keep track of our winning streaks there! Our team members include Seng Kwee, Teck Beng, Xuanwei, Shaowei, Jason, Yiyuan, Daren, Chongrong, Tze Hao and ME of course! I dun think it's our goal to come out top... But more to stay together and keep playing soccer together... And enjoy each other's company... Any silverware is a bonus... But having said that... That doesn't mean we wun give it our best shot... We'll try to make it difficult for others playing against us... And do ourselves some justice... I juz hope that our years of playing and chemistry amongst one another will give us that edge over the others... d ( ^^, ) b So watch out for us... Team RECCOS!!!
