Thursday:
Back from a day of MC... Very soon Project Blue Bird will come to and end... Or something similar to that... But until then... It's hellish work... Well no one said it's gonna be easy rite? And I definitely dun want it to be too easy... Wat's the point?~!
Today being a Thursday w/o any last minute injects... Is a rather relaxed and slow-paced day... Cleared a couple of mails in my account... Watched "The Guru" with Super-KL @ Yishun in the evening... Haha~! Wat a ridiculously stoopid show~!!! Loved the cross-over between the typical Indian dancing MTV and the Grease MTV by John Travolta... HAHA~!! That female actress in the show... Cant remember her name... She looked really gorgeous @ certain angles... =P~~
Friday:
Project Blue Bird entering it's new phase... Well cant talk much abt it since it's not supposed to be... Well had a generally bo-liao day... Became "Adam King" for the day... Taking video shots of the firing... Met Dom's funny fren... Collin... Amazingly... I found him extremely SEXY with that deep booming voice of his... Well it turned out that he's a famous MC for Tengah... Heh! I knew I had an eye for talents... =) But rest assured gals... I'M NO GAY!!! Fortunately for us... We managed to "pack it up and go~" so we do not have to return the day after or stay overnight... Had a little problem evacuating the place but really... The evening view of the 2nd link between Malaysia and Singapore was certainly a beauty... Those orange lights against the red sky in the evening... Wow... Took in the sights as (NS) Eric Ong drove me ard... Lovely Eric... Thank you Eric.
To end it all... Here's a quote I came across in the day whilst clearing mails... Hope it can enlighten some selfish self-centred bastards who would only think of themselves in times of conflict...

Woah.. It's almost a week now since I last blogged... Really hectic these days... All thanks to Project Blue Bird man... Sigh~! Every Monday Wednesday and Friday... We do a mock-up training and in the evening... We have a debrief for us key personnel with myself being the secretary for the meeting... Sheesh... Seriously at this rate... I would look like Mick Jagger by the time I'm out of the service~!
Had a rather bad weekend cos I claypot-ed in EPL and MJ the very same night... *Looks like NY's good luck ain't of much help huh?* Something very hard to digest over the weekend... But nevertheless... We had a great night of fun... Except the part Weibin drooled all over my bed... ARGH!!! Yucks~! Breakfast was splendid @ Delifrance... My tuna breakfast was so appetizing... I actually wanted to go for another... But my empty wallet and super-tired body stopped me from doing so... "Fan4 hou4 yi4 gen1 yan1, quai4 le4 shi4 shen2 sian1"... Wat a beautiful morning... Concussed soon after reaching my room... Errmm.. Bed...
Played on Battlenet with hooey for the very 1st time as AT partners... Really sucked big time... Lost 6 games straight... Whoosh~! Never felt like such a loser in my life~! I attribute all my losses to my lousy partner cos he teleports ard for no rhyme or reason... And that he always teleports away without informing me... Leaving me alone to fend off the enemy/enemies all by myself~! And his pathetic fighting spirit... Quitting @ the very sight of the enemy's army... Grrrr~! Frustrates me always... We had a lucky break though... @ the 7th game... Both of us UD against a hero-only Orc and NE cheese... This game replay truely TRUELY brought out the cheese of UD vs NE... Of cos us coming on top of the encounter... Hero of the game? Those 10 necros who turned back at the 21st minute... *LoLz...* Man-Of-The-Match? Berd of course! Or so I declare~!
B'cos of the claypot... I've decided to set up a fund for myself so that I'll be able to get my motor before I go into Uni... This fund will help fund my bike in months to come... As such... I have requested that all my frens who enjoy reading my Blog or listening to my jokes contribute @ least 10cents to it each time they laugh @ one of my jokes... As such... The "Buy-Berd-A-Bike"® Fund was established.

Last blogged on Monday and here I am... Back on a Thursday... "Where have I gone?" some may ask... Where else but... WORK!
Tuesday
My dream working life came to an abrupt end today with myself being suddenly heavily involved in Project "Blue Bird"... I was tasked to be escort to some Russians who were invited to come here and do some rectifications to certain parts of Project Blue Bird... Felt like a gigolo having to entertain customers on the job... Although there was practically nothing to do while they were around but... Seriously... I'm better off sleeping in bunk... Sheesh~! Spent the afternoon @ MacRitchie for my usual 7km X-Ctry training... This time we were made to run in the rain... (I thought I juz mentioned that I haven't done that in quite a while...) Felt really reluctant at 1st but soon got into the mood of running... Geez~! I managed to shave off another 1m odd from my previous timing... And I'm pretty confident that @ the end of this all... I would be able to clock my 7km under 30 minutes~!!!
Wednesday
S3's guidelines and instructions were clear... Berd will help out in all the Project Blue Bird Mock-Up Training for Live Firing and that this training will take precedence over everything else... (Including my Class 2B theory test... BOO~!) We were deployed at the tarmac area for the whole of today... To top it all up... We had to meet him for a debrief @ 1830 hrs at the end of the day to discuss on the achievements and learning values for the day's training... Sorry Sylvia... Another day perhaps... It was my 1st time too seeing the true "colours" of S3 when things didn't go according to plan and schedule in the morning... Definitely dun wanna cross his path on a day like this... (Nope CPT Vince Poh... No X-become-Y junction theory this time round...) His quote on the union thingy had me fazed for quite a while... Haha... After finishing our training... We were all called into the Conference Room for a debrief which took us till 2120 hrs~!!! Goodness~! Everyone's damn tired and we had to be in camp by 0600 hrs the next morning~!! I could see in the corner of my eye the hatred and "dulan-ness" with S3 building up in everybody... Well... I did learn something from this though... Had a short-run with Super-KL before I had dinner outside... Alone... "Lonely-fishball mee meal"... And then went back to bunk to catch-up with the guys before returning back to bunk to complete my minutes for the meeting... Really felt good abt my minutes... Having finished it the same day the meeting was held... When I was done.. It was 3 in the morning... 2h 30m to "Rise-and-Shine~!"
Thursday
The highlight of the day was being deployed at the air base for training... My role there was pretty simple... To be the vehicle commander for any miscellaneous trip... Like food ration collection and picking up more staff personnel and ferry them ard... Being so close to those fighters and jumbo jets... Really made me a little angry with myself for not taking a little more care of my eyes... I could be flying one of those in a few years' time if not for all the studying I did back then when I was small~!!! (Yah rite... You sure it wasn't the games and the internet that spoiled your eyesight?) The taking-off and landing in motion before your very eyes... Is a sight to behold... For I have been fascinated by mean machines and technology for as long as I could remember... Wat a remarkable invention... Those stupid RPs had us delayed... Stupid Nick and Co... Useless bunch of idiots~!! When we got back to camp for the debrief... It was late again as usual... Was a little disappointed that S3 made no (positive) comments on my hard work on those minutes he needed so badly the night before... Oh well... @ least I finally get to go back home to blog, bathe and Warcraft... Heh~! Home sweet room!
As I'll try from now on... I'll end each blog with a learning value for all my fans reading my blog (If any... Haha!) to take away and practise in life... Today's quote will definitely belong to S3 who rebuffed dear Ken's request of lunch...
Quote of the day:
"We're not working like a Union here... The lunchtime from 1130 - 1330 hrs does not mean we have to eat @ 1130 sharp and come back to work at 1330 sharp~!? If there's work to be done then we should jolly-well put our heads and minds to it... Get the Orderly Room gus to pack lunch for everyone... And get Ken back to work~!!" ~ S3
Learning Value:
Well I've seen how hard S3 worked juz to achieve something he believed and has set for himself... If that means having to stay back himself to make everyone of us work... Then so be it... Even though it was late... He still called for a debrief for everyone to fully appreciate wat's going on and what the objectives for the next training are... Very commendable I must say... I used to think that "Hey~! Doesn't mean you dun have a life I'm supposed to oblige and follow suit Mister~! I'm an NSF so leave me alone and gimme back my day offs~!!!" But now when I look at it... I see why he's there in that position... Now I truly know how much effort and commitment one has to put into his work and career in order to succeed. You better be playing all you can now Berd... Cos when you're finally in the U... You're expected to workas hard as that~!
Cheers!

Sheesh... It seemed like last a month ago since I last blogged... Perhaps it's b'cos of the number of things that have taken place over this short weekend... On the crazy nite of Saturday... Niche and I had a Warcraft3 marathon til 4 am in the morning... Our finale was a match-up against each other... The 1st one myself as Undead against his NE... I won that one hands down... The 2nd one NE vs NE... His dryads won him the match... Dryads being immune to magic and able to auto-dispel negative buffs made the difference... "Dryads + DOTC... Got nice smell coming out..." LoLz...
That very same morning (Sunday morning of course...) I was supposed to be playing street soccer with RECCOS and Co. @ LimBang at 0845... Having slept @ 4... Obviously even an earthquake cant get me out of bed... Until.. Until... Until of course Teck Beng called... I could hear in the tone of his voice over the phone that he was really disappointed that I had actually misled them and not turn up for soccer... But I was really too damn tired~!!! But I thought.. C'mon... A few hours and a couple of dollars to keep their trust in me... A small price to pay for friendship... Immediately I jumped up and into the toilet... Less than half an hour later... I was there kicking the ball ard with them... $6.40 well spent... ^^, Remember your commitment to RECCOS Berd... "It's abt being there when you shouldn't be there... It's abt being there even though you cant be there..."
We had a good chat over lunch @ LJS in Lot 1... Talked abt our life in the service and those poor regulars... And our time left in the service.. Haha... We'll never get sick of talking abt the army will we? Ran home in the rain from JP Interchange... Haven't done that for quite a while... Enjoyed that one and even more so... The afternoon sleep that followed... SHIOK~!!! d ( ^o^ ) b
Went out with Nav to Sun Plaza to watch Red Dragon... I thought that the show was totally awesome... The pyschotic killer, in my opinion, was actually a very interesting character... No doubt eccentric and really really mad... But sometimes I've dreamed of being such a pyscho myself... The movie really portrayed ermmm... I dunno... I juz thought that the show on the whole was totally awesome... Hannibal Lecter is soOo smart... Not to mention waAay KEWL~! His brillance, in a way, was alluring to me... I always dreamt that with those brains... I could be the world's wanted-yet-untouchable criminal... (If you know wat I mean...) I was dead tired too by the end of the show... And I shall hereby promise myself... I'll not commit myself to too many activities over the weekend henceforth... Weekends are for my body and mind (and soul) to rest... Not for me to tire myself out even more?~! I must stop my bad habit of taking afternoon naps~! So there!
I havent been bookin in on Sunday nites for ages... Since my days as a cadet in AFS I guess... This time ard I had to book in early to study for my Cat C test.. Vital for my promotion to LTA next April... And my ORD of course... Met Kelvin and Katrina (Was that it? Haha... Wat a name...) @ Sun Plaza Coffee Bean... Eggroll (Kelvin's primary school nickname...) mentioned that he also saw my bro and his gf @ Sun Plaza that very same evening~!!! Talking abt small world huh? A million congrats to Eggroll for picking up such a lovely and wonderful gal in Katrina (Is this really her name? Geez...) I wonder... Why do others always get all the luck? Sigh... (-.-) Nvm... That's a good excuse to go MaMbO this week baby~! YEAH~!!!
A thousand thanks to SUPER-KL too for picking up my camp pass, receiver and belt from my mum from home... I'm sure I'd run into some trouble w/o those items... Especially the pass... We studied til late at night... KL and I taking turns at the book... (Poor Berd has no book to study with...) I gave up eventually... I was soOo dead beat~!!!
We had out Cat test today together with the rest of the guys less MC... Good to see Nick Dom and Odie again... Well I'm sure not everyone thought so... Really had a low key day today... Morning breakfast test... Test til 10 teabreak... Teabreak smoking break office for 10 minutes... Ate out for lunch and back @ 1 odd... Chatted and slept til 3~!!! (There goes my long-standing record of 2 working says w/o a sinful afternoon nap... Gawd... Nice determination Berd...) Went back to office and stepped out immediately for tea break... Printed some documents and it's time to pack up... Haha...
Definition of "RSAF" by Timmy - Rarely Seen After Five... (That's me~! LoLz..)
Took my 3rd motor lesson and it was raining... Putting on those stupid yellow SMELLY raincoats was the lowest point of this almost-perfect day... The class had 3 other Malays other than myself... I guess that summed up my day @ BBDC... Screw them... Hopefully there will be more gals in my subsequent lessons...
I shall end with a revised quote from the definition seen above... And I shall pledge... As a TRUE-BLUE NSF... I will stand true to this statement.. For as long as I am in this service...

Heh... This morning was a little indifferent from other Saturday mornings... Yes we still went out for breakfast but this time... It was with CPT Chua and Wee Meng himself~! Had a hotcakes with sausage meal @ MacDonald's sponsored by CPT Chua for some unknown reasons... Thought it was really sweet of her to give me a treat like that out of the blue... Found out soon after that well she probably "hired" me to vent her frustrations on... Received volleys of taunts all thru breakfast... Haha... She said it's been a long time since she last had so mch fun... I didn't mind anyway... Promised to take her out for breakfast some other days when time and opportunity permits...
FIRE FIGHTING:
Attended a fire fighting course... Never knew there's so much more to it than juz shouting "Fire fire fire!!!" and coming down in the most outrageous outfit... Basically there are 5 types of fire...
Class A : Solid fire fuelled by wood, paper, etc.
Class B : Liquid fire fuelled by pertoleum, paint, etc.
Class C : Gaseous fire fuelled by butane, octane, etc.
Class D : Electrical fire caused by sparks and such...
Class K : Household fire caused by cooking gas or vegetable oil... (Kitchen fire I reckon for the "K" class... LoLz...)
There are 3 basic elements that must be present before a fire can occur... One must understand this before he can trully fight against a fire... There must be FUEL, OXYGEN and HEAT in order for the fire to substain... So similarly... The 3 ways to fight a fire are to eliminate any one of these elements... To deprive the fire of fuel is known as STARVATION... Methods include removing the source of the fire... (EG: Cooking gas or wood source...) Sounds a lot easier than being done obviously... To deprive the fire of oxygen is known as... wait a minute... Wat is it known as??? Argh nvm.... Juz remember it's one of the methods... Last but not least... By "COOLING" the fire... You're actually taking away the heat from the fire... Breaking the chain reaction of the burning process...
Having that in mind... When fighting against Class K fires... (Kitchen fires...)1 impt point when a fire breaks out... Apart from panicking/escaping... Look for the main valve that turns off the gas supply to the stove... So that wat's remaining in the pipe will be left to burn... It's no use fighting the kitchen fire when the supply of cooking gas keeps coming is it? Similar to Class D fires... Switch off all electrical supplies before fighting the fire with either DP or CO2... Definitely not water extinguishers...
And then there are different fire extinguishers used for different fires... And each have their unique colour coding...
According to British standards... The following coloured extinguishers denote...
Red : Water extingusiher, H2O...
Blue : Dry powder extinguisher, DP...
Cream : Foam extinguisher...
Green : Some old-British time extinguisher which is unheard of today...
Black : Carbon dioxide extinguisher, CO2...
For red extinguishers (water)... You probably can use it against all fires EXCEPT electrical fires (Class D...) Cos you dun want yourself to be electrocuted admist fire-fighting... And usually the damage done by the water from the extinguisher could be more severe than the fire itself... So not very wise to use water here...
Blue extinguishers (DP) are by far the most flexible... The dry powder is very fine... Almost like a liquid... Flowing out of the noozle when you squeeze the trigger... It can be used for all types of fire... Basically... It puts out the fire by covering the fire itself with a layer of powder... Hence cutting out the oxygen supply to the fire... Quick and efficient... But once you step over the powder and expose the initially burning surface to the atmosphere... The fire could burst into flames once again... Woah... Careful~!
This is when cream extinguishers (foam) come into play... They coat a layer of foam over the fire like DP does... And on top of that it has a cooling effect to the fire due to the water present... Usually used with DP extinguishers to put out fires involving oil, petroluem and such... Not as spectacular as the DP... But really effective...
Those black extinguishers (CO2) are by far the worst of all extingushers... Perhaps b'cos there wasn't enuff pressure in the fire extinguishers we had... It took more than 3 of such to put out a fire... And even so... It wasn't complete... Not to mention convincing... I've decided... I would use a CO2 extinguisher to get myself out of a fire instead of fighting one... By cooling the air in front of me as I march forward... LoLz...
Had a chance to fire the foam extinguisher... Wasn't too bad... Wat you have to do is to aim above the fire such that when the foam settles... It would be ON the fire... Spraying at it directly would only make the fire climb above the foam... Defeating the purpose of fire-fighting... Quite an experience to cherish I reckon... ^^ Playfully... I sprayed the remains of the foam extinguisher on the poor chap helping us out... Managed to dig a few laughs out of thoe silly Majors and those present... Hahaha! *Berd Berd when are you gonna stop your nonsense... NEVER~!! LoLz...*
Last but not least... Fire extinguishers must be well-maintained and constantly sent for checking and servicing... It showed today how expired extinguishers lack the gas pressure to actually "throw" the CO2 from afar... The expired one we had was miserable and had to go really close to the fire juz to engage it... The heat was unbearable... The learning experience today? Definitely valuable...
Cherios!

YEAH! Back @ home and blogging at my PC... What did I do to remedy it? I've got no idea... It juz worked... Highly unstable PC now... Sheesh!
Had a couple of games with Niche and Hooey25... We seem unbeatable in that server... Whenever we play together... 2 NEs and 1UD combination would give a deadly fighting force I reckon... Trueshot aura + Thorns aura + Unholy aura + Vampiric aura... Woah!
Really glad that my PC is up and working perfectly like it used to... Hopefully this one lasts... But on a more serious note... I'm beginning to feel the pinch of being single... Well hell yeah it saves me a lot of money than being attached but seeing Guohui and his Michelle walking away after camp... Seems... Much much more interesting than a night of Warcraft don't you think Berd? I really want to be able to find a suitable partner soon... But I promise myself I shan't rush into it and end up regretting the relationship... And more imptly... I wun lower my standards and settle for an average gal... Hell no... She's got to be interesting and amicable... We got to be able to get along together... Splendid figure and super long hair would be secondary... Looks would play a part though...
As for the gal I saw on the MRT today on the way home with Junwei... I thought she's kind of my perfect gal... Sweet... Petite and watery lips... Shoulder-length and a killer-smile... But the goon she was with was totally a turn-off... Yes many a time people have told me to gals... Looks are secondary... I'm beginning to believe this shit boy! I've seen much worse... Some of the most lovely gals I've seen are with red-nosed pimple-faced guys... What a gross-mismatch?! I still believe it's abt the money... Well who knows...
As for that gal... She lives in Jurong West too... But then again she's taken... Sigh...
Will my Princess ever come? Or has she come and gone?

Gawd...Went home yesterday to find my PC unserviceable yet again... GOODNESS?@! WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING MAN?! WHO THE HELL IS DOING SUCH EVIL HARM TO MY DEAR PC?! I find myself so helpless without my PC... So useless... So wasted...
Poor Niche` was desperate to play a game of Warcraft3 with me... I tried to format the darn harddisk and do what I usually do... But that didn't solve the problem... And now I'm absolutely clueless as to how to go about reviving my Warcraft3... Since my silly test is being postponed to next Monday... I guess I shall dedicate this evening to remedy this problem... Hopefully I will be able to get my pc up again... FOR GOOD!
*Blogging from office... Heh... Is this good enuff a reason to blog @ work?*

It's almost the end of the day now @ 1620 hrs... And I'm blogging away during office hours... Today like the day before, has been really slow paced thanks to Ex Cadence. Heh! "No more AS3, no one arrow me, no more S3 tekan me... La~la~lu~la~leh... HEY!"
Had a swim with Guohui this afternoon during lunch break... Really relaxing to juz dip yourself in the cool water under the hot afternoon sun and juz do nothing at all... And after my swim and lunch... Felt really REALLY sleepy but hey... I will stand true to my resolution not to sleep no more during lunch... It's been 1 day... Let's see how long I can last... =P

Had a pretty simple day... Slept thru lunch this afternoon hoping it might give me more energy for my run later... Came down to the cookhouse with my gutters down... Gawd... COMD gave me a pretty good glare for that from afar... GAWD... *Looks down in shame, breaks a drop of sweat...*
Left camp @ 1435 hrs for MacRitchie... Met Glen and Rod (those really funny idiots...) @ NorthPoint doing a commercial... Took a bus down to the park for a time trial... Honestly... Tecky and I aren't too keen on this... Himself because he's on overseas leave on the final day itself on 12 DEC 02... And as for me... Juz plain lazy... We dun stand a chance against those SAFSA runners... SERIOUS! Came in 3rd last in the time trial at 33 min odd... Took it really slowly... Didn't want to torture myself too much... Took a lift from CPT Ron back home... Back home for my usual Warcraft3... ^^
Barney Nicky Guohui and I have all decided on Bangkok for our year-end getaway... I'm not so into shopping but I can take the chance to relax and expand my wardrobe... Not a problem... Nicky did a good job having settled everything including lodging and air tickets... All that's left is me paying up! ^^ Oh and taking leave from my Sir... 15th to 20th it is!
Looking forward to my trip... Looking forward to my next payday...

Had a great day at work... Haven't felt this satisfaction in ages... Since... Hmmm... *When was that?*
Scored points with my S3 today I believe for doing a fantastic job with my minutes this morning... Even had it delivered to him in PLC!!! Could see that he appreciated that... Okay... Better keep up the good work... Haha... To think my day started badly with me not bringing my pass and bunk key along... Sheesh! The camp pass caused some inconvenience but there was a way round that... As I found out the other day... The bunk key had me stuck for a while... For all my minutes were locked away in that sinful room of ours... (It's our tuang-ing room... Where we gather to sleep through lunch... Heh! ) d ( ^o^ ) b Fortunately Chief Clerk had a copy of S3's comments on the reports itself... Phew! *Slaps chest rapidly...*
Finally had a haircut... Sheesh those curls are really getting WAY out of control these days... But that stoopid Malay barber (who probably knew nuts abt cutting hair...) left my head in a pretty bad shape when I left the shop... SHEESH! Those bloody good-for-nothin's... ARGH! Cant ask much for the $10 I paid... Oh well... If you look good... You'll look good in anything! (Yah rite... Nice try Berd... You're taking deception to a whole new level by deceiving yourself man...)
Rounded up an above average day with a couple of games of WC3 with my dear Mahjong buddy and pioneer of the KBK group... Wenqing!
Game 1 : Berd VS Wenqing
Game 2 : Berd VS Wenqing
Game 3 : Berd and Wenqing VS 2 suckers
Game 4 : Berd and Wenqing VS 2 losers
Game 5 : Berd and Wenqing VS Trunksix and another idiot [They got lucky with Wenqing screwing me up big time...]

Had half the day left when daylight fell upon my eyes... Got totally wasted at Jeremy's b-dae party down at MS... 1 bottle of CHIVAS REGAL and MARTELL... What the hell was I thinking when I agreed to go Sentosa to slack with the rest of the RECCOS guys?! 0930 at Tiong Bahru MRT... Very funny... HAHA!
Spent the afternoon slacking in my cosy little room... With music air-con and bolster... (What would I do without it man...) Almost completed a game of WC3 RPG game with (selfish) Ch0b1ts and (Carrier Ke Kou Ke Wen) Kaiwen... Couldn't finish the game cos the rest were meeting at Suntec for dinner... Oh well... Didn't feel like joining them but succumbed to peer pressure instead... I'll promise myself to exercise my rights the next time round... So there!
We had quite a great time talking nonsense (Absolute nonsense...) but the meal that costed me $22 odd was WAY TOO STEEP man for me! Well... At least for now... SHEESH! Felt the pinch as I withdrew my hard-earned money from the ATM... ARGH! PAIN! -_-;

Heh! Business as usual... Back to my minutes for my Sir - My routine office work... Sheesh!
We had a fabulous lunch this afternoon to celebrate my S3's birthday... Apparently it was his b-dae yesterday and while all of them were at GS-War, I was happily shopping ard aimlessly with kw outside... Goodness!!! Haha! But it certainly felt real good... Back to the food... We had black pepper and curry crab, some butter bread and tim sum at this restaurant in Turf City overlooking the (previous) race course... Fantastic! Every bit of it was absolutely delicious! And the ambience of the place... Perfect!
The meal for the 8 of us... (Eventually paid for my Sir that sly guy...) costs ard $85++ only!!! A really good deal I reckon... $1 for every 1kg of crab for the 1st 1.5 kg and subsequently normal rates for the crab... We had a total of 2.6 kg worth of crab on the table this afternoon! Sheesh! Hahaha... Apparently there are different rates for the method of cooking... Or rather type of cooking for the crab... I.E - Black pepper or curry... Felt so bloated after the meal... Found it rather hard to actually continue working once we got back to office... I.E - I miss my afternoon nap... Ha!
I promised my stomach... I'll be back there again soon... Until then... ^^,

Woke up in the morning feeling lazy... Decided the night before that I shan't go to work... And so it shall be...
My mum placed the baby on my tummy in a bid to wake me up abt abt 7 (Obviously it doesn't work that way...) Not knowing that I've decided to tuang for the day... Hehez... She was a little bit ticklish at the start... But when she placed her hands on my chest and started crawling forward... Her weight forced me to curl up a little... But I was too tired (Lazy actually...) to actually open my eyes... Played with her a while more before making it known to my mum... That I'm on OFF today!!! Unofficially... ^^,
As suspected no one would be around to entertain me... Couldn't stand the slow speed of my PC no more... Went down to SL together with Kaiwen... To buy myself more RAM... Learned that well... I dun have to get a lot of RAM to make my PC go faster... It doesn't really work that way... Even with a lot of RAM... With my rather outdated P3... There's juz no faster the processor can go... Quoting from kw himself... It's like "I can do a lot of work... But my table is too small for me to do anything... Pointless..." It had me thinking... Will that ever happen to anyone in real life? Haha... Real silly thought... Hence the whole idea abt assembling a good PC is to optimise it to what it can realy offer... Maybe a little beyond... LESSON LEARNT.
Got myself a 128MB RAM and 50 empty CDs... Dirt cheap these things nowadays... Sheesh... Thought of getting myself a digicam too! But... Not now Berd... Not now...
We walked ard aimlessly from 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs at Bugis... Felt totally wasted... Dragging our feet along as we window shopped... I wonder if that's how a retrenched fella felt... I'm too free... And I'm also penniless... Ha!
Sigh... Hopefully I would be able to make use of my newly bought RAM for some WC3 action... YEAH!

Yoz!!! Juz returned from my range.. ^^, Heh... This time as a MARKSMAN!!! Really REALLY proud of my achievement for the day and feeling very elated... Having shot 48 out of a possible 56 targets... Heh! The adrenaline rushing through your entire body whilst waiting for the target to appear... And the exhilaration of targets dropping with every squeeze of the trigger... (Apart form the occasional miss...) Something I've not felt since those times in BMT... Hehe... Those good old innocent days...
20/24 for my day shoot part 1... 11/12 for my day shoot part 2... And 17/20 for my night shoot... ^^, Million thanks to SSG Ang who has imparted me the awesome technique of firing with the magazine on the floor... By firing this way as I found out... One can steady his weapon as he makes his shot... 1 very important factor which will determine whether the round will land on your intended target...
Basically the few fundamentals of firing are...
(1) Your breathing
(2) Your barrel movement
(3) Squeezing of trigger
(Instead of snapping at it...)
(4) The butt pressure exerted against your shoulder
(5) Focus and placement of your eye
(6) The number of contact points on the rifle
(To spread the recoil evenly...)
I believe if you pay attention to all of these pointers each time you take a shot... Chances are... The target will fall...
Well... It works for me at least... =)

Harlow!!! Here I am... Blogging blatently in my office... Defying all rules and regulations stating that all serviceman shall not use the Internet for personal gains during office hours... "I care!"
Anyway... I've juz finished a long LONG mail to a fren of mine... Heh! As with other mails... I felt really happy abt it and juz 10 minutes later... I am waiting anxiously for her reply liao... Haha! Not that I've got an affection towards her... I'm juz feeling excited abt receiving mails... Mr (Bean) Berd...
I would be staying-in tonight... Cos we have to move out real early tomolo for our ATP range... 0615 hrs move-out I reckon... I'll be going for my Marksmanship this time ard... Hopefully I will be able to get my $200 that I need oh-so badly... A pity there wun be any Champion's League on telly tonight... DARN! Wat luck... Maybe a movie at North Point would surffice... And probably play with Barney's PDA... And if possible get a gal to call me... Hehez...
Had a talk with my superior (S3) this afternoon... Sorted some feelings and thoughts out... Wat he said made some sense... That wat I'm going thru now would probably be 10 times worse outside in the private sector... Some food for thought... Points to ponder... Think about it... Digest it...
And remember... "Berd... You're bigger than that..."

Hi there... It's been ages since I last blogged... And BOY AM I ASHAMED~!!! A lot of events have taken place... But little have changed... I am still as obsessed with my PC and the Internet as before... My frustrations with my working environment has been building up ever since National Day.... But I'm able to handle them better now... After talking to and confiding in many of my frens... And reservists... (Haha... They're certainly 1 bunch of VERY FUNNY people...) Like I've said... "It would take more than that to bring ME down..."
I failed my driving on my 1st attempt... A real pity... 2 points and an immediate failure... Mounted the kerb while turning out of vertical parking... A crying shame don't you think? It's not as if I couldn't sense my car in motion whilst reversing into the parking lot... I mounted the kerb on my way out (which shouldn't happen of course... ) Oh well better luck next time Berd... on the 4th of Feb... *Geez...*
Sigh... I was talking to 2 very lucky gals a couple of days back... 1 studying Chem Engin in UK... The other in Toronto, Canada... (Sorry Ailing! Forgot what course you're taking...) And it had me thinking... And wondering... Wat would I give to be in their position now man... 19 and 20 years of age... Studying (and enjoying BIG TIME!!!) abroad... In a faraway place... Living independently... Although it also means having to settle bills and doing your own laundry... Ironing and all... It still beats having to serve 2.5 years of NS... Stuck in a silly little country ever since life was smacked into me (My mum said it took a couple of slaps on my back from the doctor to get me breathing (and crying)... Haha!) I've always wanted to travel the world (Who doesn't? Idiot...) The lovely streets of Italy and Spain... Those European landscape... Sigh... But when will I ever get the chance? Not in the foreseeable future I guess...
*Geez...*
